HAMILTON CARDINALS OPEN WORKOUT
20 December, 2023 - Strike Zone Training
1370 Artisans Ct, Burlington, ON L7L 5Y2
The Hamilton Cardinals will be hosting an Open Workout at 7:30PM on Wednesday, December 20 at Strike Zone Training in Burlington, Ontario.
Open to all players aged 19+, this is an opportunity to make a lasting impression on our staff, while serving as an early identifier for both the IBL Cardinals, and the Junior Cardinals.
Players will run through basic baseball fundamentals: Batting Practice, Defense, Catch-Play & Bullpens, with our staff in attendance. If we believe you could fit into our system, the organization will be in touch following the workout.
We seek to identify the right type of people who fit into a thriving organization that competes in the Intercounty Baseball League - Canada’s oldest Amateur baseball league, pushing 100+ years.
Going into our 66th year, the Cardinals are Hamilton’s baseball team, and the 65th was a memorable one. In 2023, we broke attendance and hitting records, Tyler Duncan was the League MVP and majority owner Eric Spearin was named Executive of the Year in his inaugural season.
Players are expected to dress appropriately and bring the following:
- $20 Evaluation Fee (Payment below or e-transfer info@iblcardinals.ca)
- Baseball Cap
- T-Shirt
- Athletic Shorts or Baseball Pants
- Turf Shoes (No Spikes Permitted)
- Glove
- Bat
If you’d like to reserve your spot, please fill out the following form prior to your attendance.
