Hamilton Cardinals Sign Right-Handed Reliever Caleb Seroski for the 2025 Season

The Hamilton Cardinals are pleased to announce the addition of Hamilton born right-handed pitcher Caleb Seroski for the 2025 season.
Seroski, a 23-year-old relief pitcher, brings valuable experience and a winning mindset to the bullpen after an impressive collegiate career in Louisiana. He began his journey at LSU-Eunice, where he posted a 2.38 ERA over six appearances with nine strikeouts in 11.1 innings.
After transferring to the University of New Orleans in NCAA Division I, Seroski became a key contributor over four seasons and was relied upon to close games. In 2021, he tied for the 4th highest single-season save total in program history with 10 saves, posting a 4-4 record, a 4.20 ERA, and 55 strikeouts, earning Second-Team All-Southland honours. Over the next three years, he made 49 appearances (5 starts), tallying a combined 11 wins, 6 saves, and 79 strikeouts in 99 innings, with highlights including leading the team in appearances in 2022 and delivering a dominant 5.0 shutout innings start against Georgia State in 2024.
Throughout his collegiate career, Caleb Seroski consistently delivered in high-pressure situations. He finished with 71 appearances, 10 saves, and over 175 innings pitched, solidifying his reputation as a reliable pitcher. Following his collegiate career, Seroski continued his baseball journey in the summer of 2024, playing professionally in Germany with the Hünstetten Storm.
Caleb is also the son of Joe Seroski, a former professional hockey player who played in the OHL with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds, the AHL Hamilton Bulldogs, and with teams in the ECHL and UHL in the United States.
“Caleb had a strong college career, and we’re excited to welcome him back to Hamilton to play baseball in front of his friends and family,” said Cardinals Owner Eric Spearin.
The Hamilton Cardinals will kick off their 2025 season at home on Friday, May 16, against the Brantford Red Sox. Season tickets are available now at CardinalsTickets.ca.
